• Job Description:

  Influence and collaborate with business leaders, legal, audit, information protection, privacy and compliance leadership to define, develop and implement business unit compliance, privacy and ethics programs.
  Based on a risk assessment, support the Regional Head of Compliance with creation of the annual compliance plan.
  Establish and execute testing and monitoring plan against key compliance risks (as documented in annual plan)
  Escalate any material learnings / findings from monitoring to legal and compliance leadership
  Provide draft and final reports regarding testing and monitoring to legal and compliance leadership
  Provide a quarterly update of progress against the compliance plan to legal and compliance leadership
  Establish and create consistent Management Information by business unit in consultation with legal and compliance leadership on a regular basis
  Create reporting for Management and Enterprise Compliance in consultation with legal and compliance leadership on a regular basis
  Deliver compliance training to the business unit
  Facilitate implementation of new compliance requirements by the first line of defense
  Draft new compliance policies as needed
  Provide guidance and support to the business unit in the management of data and privacy issues including breach management, remediation plans, data subject access requests and data privacy impact assessments
  Perform horizon scanning in Saudi Arabia and identify new laws, regulations and market practices
  Act as the subject matter expert for Saudi Arabia
  Attend regular meetings with business unit leadership

• Desired Skills and Experience:

  8 years’ minimum experience in compliance and ethics
  Must have health insurance regulatory experience and knowledge of data protection laws in Saudi Arabia. Experience in bank and finance.
  Experience of working with information protection resources /IT functions is preferred
  Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively in a high paced environment
  Strong analytical, planning, and problem solving skills
  Strong decision making capabilities and ability to identify problems and propose creative and effective solutions
  Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to provide guidance on complex matters in a clear and concise manner
  Ability to present sound, persuasive rationale for ideas or opinions
  Ability to work confidently within groups in a multi-cultural environment and respond to global/cultural sensitivities
  Team player with a positive attitude
  Bilingual in English and Arabic
